Happy hour deals

Updated: Deal details can change — always verify before ordering.

Happy hour is the deal category that varies the most from place to place, because hours, pricing, and any alcohol offers are governed by each location and by state and local law. We're just beginning to track these, and we're deliberately cautious about them.

Treat anything here as a prompt to check the specific restaurant — not as a promise about what's available where you are.

Food deals change quickly. We track day-of-week, location, app/rewards, expiration, and source details so one failed attempt is not automatically treated as fake.

Community reports and tool outputs are not guarantees. Always verify the discount actually applies at checkout before you order.

Happy hour availability, pricing, and alcohol rules vary by location and local law. Always confirm with the restaurant before going.

What the labels mean

  • Source-listed

Source-listedmeans we found the deal on the brand's own site and summarized it — not that we confirmed it at your checkout. Community reportedcomes from visitors and isn't checked by us. Nothing here is marked Verified unless a person confirmed it.

What to confirm before you go

Ask the location for the current happy-hour days and times, whether the food specials are available at the bar only or throughout, and what's included. Drink and alcohol specials in particular are set by local law and can change without notice.

Because so much varies locally, treat every listing here as a prompt to call ahead — not a promise about your specific restaurant on a specific night.

Not every "happy hour" is about alcohol

Some chains market half-price drinks — soft drinks, teas, lemonades, slushes — as an app-based happy hour with no alcohol involved. Those are usually claimed in the brand's app and are a genuinely easy family-friendly saving; you'll find a couple on our fast-food deals page.

How we handle “did it work?” reports

A single “didn't work today” isn't treated the same as “looks fake.” Day-specific, regional, and app-only deals fail for ordinary reasons, so we weigh a soft miss far less than a genuine fraud report.

  • Worked for me The deal or code applied at checkout the way it was described.
  • Didn't work today It didn't apply this time. On its own this is a weak signal — the deal may be day-specific, regional, or temporarily paused, so one miss doesn't mean it's fake.
  • Expired There was a clear sign the offer has ended (an expiration message, or it's no longer listed).
  • Location didn't honor it A specific store wouldn't apply it, even though the deal appears to exist. Often a participating-locations issue.
  • App / rewards only It only works inside the brand's app or for rewards members, not as a public code.
  • Wrong day or time It's tied to a day of week or time window and didn't apply outside it.
  • Regional / location-only It only works in certain areas or at certain stores, not nationwide.
  • Private / personalized code It looks tied to one person's account (from an email or push), so it won't work for others.
  • Looks fake / spam This looks like a fabricated or spam offer, not a real one. This is the strongest negative signal.

FAQ

What time is happy hour?
It varies widely — many places run an afternoon window (roughly 3–6pm) and some add a late-night one. Because it's set per location, always confirm the current times with the specific restaurant.
Are happy hour deals always available?
No. Happy hour can change or be suspended at any time, and some locations don't offer it at all. Local law also affects what drink specials are allowed, so nothing here is guaranteed to be running when you visit.
Do chains like Applebee's or Chili's have happy hour?
Some locations do, with half-price appetizers and drink specials, but it's set at the location level. Confirm with your specific restaurant before going.
